Chilly Saturday

Lowri - I got fed THREE times today!!!  Three times!  I LOVE my life! 

Kevin - I went to town with TM today.  She needed my help at Tractor Supply.  I got to lead her around while she pushed her cart.  We bought LOTS of stuff.  She carried some treats around in her pocket and I got some when I sat.  I even let a young man pet on me. 

Lowri - PR offed two goats today.  I am going to be well-fed.  YAY!  I've never had goat meat before.  I am sure I will love it.  I am drooling just thinking about it.

TM took my temperature again tonight.  I do not like it.  Then I sat on her lap and she stroked me between the eyes.  That was sooooooo nice. 

ONE More Week

Lowri - We are back at the farm.  I love it here, but I am just very uncomfortable.  I sat on TM's lap for a little while, but that is too hot.   I am stretched out on the floor but my babies are making that uncomfortable.  TM likes to sit with her hand on my belly so she can feel the babies kick.  Last night, when I draped myself over her tummy, I just kept grunting and groaning.  TM finally suggested that I might be more comfortable on the other side of the bed.  I think she really meant that SHE would be more comfortable.

I weighed in at 40 1/2 pounds.  That is up seven pounds.  Sadly, I have almost one more week to go.  And, Oh JOY!  TM is taking my temperature daily.  That is not pleasant!

Kevin - Today TM had a client with show dogs.  I got to come out and say hi.  I threw myself into her arms.  She was a lovely person.  I gave her hugs and kisses.  This was after TM told her that I would say "Don't touch the puppy."  I love tormenting TM.

Home Depot

Kevin - TM and I went to Home Depot today to get some stuff for the whelping area.  I peed on a tree before we went in.  TM was happy with me.  TM asked a guy for some help to find stuff.  I followed him, pulling TM and her cart along behind me.  The guy thought I was a handsome fellow.

TM is getting the back room ready for Lowri.  She was going to let the puppies have the kitchen but she was worried the floor would be too cold for the babies.  I am happy with this new arrangement because I will get to sit on the sofa with her and monitor the little ones.

Lowri - I was out digging under the shed.  It is not as nice a cave as under the deck, but it will do.  I am not sure TM will have her spot ready for me.  Besides, I don't think I will like TM's spot as well as I like my own.  I am about ready to be done with carrying these puppies!

Mid-week

Lowri - TM is feeling better tonight.  Last night I tried to share my thoughts, but her head was so full of stuff, she couldn't hear me.  She barely heard me when I shouted that I was HUNGRY and needed to be fed.  Fortunately, she is well trained so me staring at her and then at my dish got through.  Whew!

TM hoisted me up on the table to take some pictures.  I am thinking she might need a crane before much longer.  She said she was going to set up the puppy pen tonight.  I am not sure she will actually get it done today, but she is going to start.

Seven and a half weeks pregnant.  I am feeling it!

Kevin - I had to go to the pet store today.  TM was getting me some tracking treats.  I had to go in and get looked at and touched.  I barked at a young man who was kneeling petting the cats.  He should have known better than to look at me while his hands were still full of cats.  Yuck!

Beautiful Monday

Lowri - Today was a beautiful day.  I was glad to spend some of it outside.  TM still won't let me do anything.  Kevin gets to have all the fun.

It was embarrassing, TM was sitting in her recliner and I jumped up to sit with her.  I do this all the time.  Today, I caused the foot part to collapse.  TM actually laughed at me!  Just wait, she won't be laughing in a week and a half.

Kevin - I got to go tracking again.  TM walked on the driveway and dropped stuff.  I found it ALL for her.  I even tracked her back to the car. 

Later, I got to go herding.  TM is teaching me to sit and stay, or to lie down.  I don't like that very much.  I like chasing the sheep and making them come back to TM.

Lowri - Here are some pictures of my last litter to tide you over for a week and a half.  Then there will be some new baby pictures.

Sunday Tracking and Herding

Lowri - This was not a good day - even if I did get fed twice.  I had to sit in the car while Kevin got to have all the fun.

Kevin - I got to go herding and then I got to go tracking.  TM was very happy with how I worked the sheep.  I am staying out further and I stop when TM tells me to.  I am working on doing outruns, although, I don't do them very well.

I also got to go tracking.  Ms. Cheryl took some pictures of me out in my fields.  My track was 325 yards long and had been aged half an hour.

Saturday in Town?

Lowri - What a weird Saturday.  TM got up early, loaded us up and we went back to town.  No dog show, no nothing.  Apparently, she had a client with company and everyone wanted a massage.  TM doesn't usually do that on Saturday, but there were four of them.  I think that means we get to go to more dog shows.  Anyway, we are back at the farm again.

While we were in town, I scoped out a spot behind our big trash can.  I dug it out a little, but I think it will be too wet.  I am not sure where I am going to find that perfect spot, now that TM has closed off the deck.  When we go back, I will check and see if I can wiggle a board off the deck skirting.

I am seven weeks along.  I need my rest.

Kevin - I have had to wear the bad dog collar.  For some reason, TM wants me to listen to her when she calls me.  I HEAR her, but I am BUSY!

Lowri - <snort>  I can tell you that won't work.  I tried it last year.  You might try peeing while you sniff, that always works for me.  TM just laughs and waits for me.
