Lowri - My boyfriend was AWESOME today.
TM -Wa, Wah, Wah.
Lowri - Ohhhhhh...My boyfriend did an awesome job HERDING today! TM and MC were dancing around after watching him. He did things no one would expect a herding dog with seven weeks training COULD do. Here is a video that MC took of him working. At the very start, he is bringing in an escapee who ducked through the gate and ran off. My boyfriend did it mostly on his own with very little help from TM.

Then there is this really nice picture of my boyfriend in the field with the sheep.
Storybook got to work the ducks. TM stole this picture from MC's Facebook page. Look at the intense look on her face! In case you don't know, Story has tape on her ears to help them stand up. They will firm up pretty soon and she won't need her crown.
Even I got to work today. I got to put the ducks away. It was fun working again, even if it wasn't for very long. It was a good day!
Lowri's boyfriend was AMAZING! I cannot tell you how very excited we all are about the potential in this breeding--hopefully being hit hard by the "pretty" stick as well as for some incredible herding instinct! Baby Storybook was also amazing! She never lost her focus on the stock (ducks)! For a baby puppy, that is also pretty awesome! Best Day Ever (per Rip Cannon)!
ReplyDeleteIt is very exciting to see the instinct come through the generations. When that is coupled with a desire to work and a happy attitude, herding makes a lot of Best Days Ever!
