Tracking

Kevin - TM took me tracking.  It was my longest track ever.  I went 420 yards.  The track was half an hour old.  It was great!  At the end, when I found TM's glove, I got fed my evening meal - Right there on the track by the glove!  I LOVE my job.

I also spent some time guarding my babies.  I have started getting between Aidan and the puppies.  I noticed that Lowri doesn't like him coming close.  TM noticed that I am playing with Aidan, but definitely blocking him.  I sure hope Aidan hasn't realized it.  He is twice my size!
My favorite spot - watching over my babies.

Grumpy?

Lowri - TM says I have been grumpy.  I HAVE NOT!  I am my usual sweet self.  Just because I have 9 demanding puppies?  I have been wonderful.

I have been checking out a space under the ramp.  I am pretty sure that I could fit all my babies and me there.  TM doesn't let me go under there if she can help it.  Even PR noticed that I have been checking it out.  I LIKE snug places.  I am sure it would be better than the breakfast nook in the house.

It's a feeding frenzy!

My daughter and her cousin came up to go herding.  TM got my ducks out.  Fable LOVE it.  Story was pretty sure that she wasn't supposed to get near the ducks.  Once TM convinced her that it was okay to do, she did a good job.

Kevin - I didn't get to do much today.  TM had to get her car serviced.  At least I didn't have to go with her so other people could look at me.

The Day after the Feast

Lowri - TM left early this morning with Kevin.  She was gone all day long.  I got left home alone with my children, Aiden and Papa Ron.  PR fed me and let me out to potty.  I barely missed TM.

When she got back, she weighed all the babies.  Seven of them are over a pound now.  Carrie and Sara are the slackers.   TM is pretty happy with how everyone is growing.  They are getting so plump.

Kevin - We got to go back to town.  I checked out the yard and made sure everything was still where it should be.  TM had to work.  When she was done, we went to the store.  I trotted next to her while she pushed the cart around.  Lots of people told TM that I was beautiful.

TM took pictures of the babies.  She only got pictures of the girls tonight.  The boys were busy nursing.

Thanksgiving

Lowri - TM was busy ALL day long.  She smoked the turkey, baked the ham, broiled the sweet potatoes, boiled the cranberries, mashed the potatoes, cooked the dressing and forgot the peas.  Mama Cheryl came and brought the cranberry/apple salad.  I DIDN'T GET ANY OF IT!  Well, I got a tiny sample when TM was handing out pieces of the smoked turkey.  But that was it!  TM seemed to think my three meals were sufficient.  NOT TRUE!  I am wasting away.  I am supporting NINE puppies.  Woe is me.  I am getting weaker, weaker...

Kevin -  Lowri is a drama queen.  Don't listen to her.  TM makes sure we get plenty to eat.

I have to say, since my rug rats came, I am getting more lap time with TM.  Lowri has been locked up with the kids.  I have been enjoying that - a lot!  But, let's get on with the pictures.  We know that is what you really want.  Oh, I was supposed to add...Four of my kids weigh over a pound!

Booooring

Kevin - I am over these puppies.  They are getting ALL the attention.  I am not getting any!

TM - Wah, wa, wah, wa.

Kevin - Really?  They are MY babies?  How did that happen?

TM - <snort>

Day 4 Back in Town

Lowri - We came back to town this morning.  TM took my babies to the vet to have their dewclaws removed.  I stayed in the car.  It must have been okay, because my babies were snoozing when TM brought them back.

Back at the house, I checked out the yard to make sure nothing had come inside the fence.  The neighbors have a tin roof on their shed.  A piece of the tin is loose and makes a banging sound in the wind.  I told it to just stay in its own yard.  My ruff was up because I wanted it to know that I would protect my puppies!

Here is the picture TM took of me yesterday.

Day 3

Lowri - My babies are the most awesome babies ever.

TM - Wa, wa, wah, wah, wa.

Lowri - My litter from last year?  They were awesome too, but that was a whole year ago.  I don't remember them much any more.    As I was saying, my new babies are the awesomest ever!  I heard one of them squawking as I was taking a little break out of the whelping box.  I looked in to see there was a problem.  Since he squawked some more, I jumped in to check them all out.  He was just making noise.

TM has been taking lots of pictures.  She doesn't want my help.  She doesn't even want my shadow in the picture.  Ha!  I had to be in the picture for Dierks.

Kevin - Once again, I am the afterthought.  TM and I spent some alone time.  I needed it.  She took me tracking!  I was very good.  I found her hat and her glove - and some treats.  They were tasty.

Yesterday I got to go herding.  TM let me work some of the big Mama sheep.  I love making them go where TM is heading.  I am learning all sorts of fun stuff.  TM says I get to go to a herding trial the first weekend of January.  I get to do something called a Herding Test.  TM says I have that down pat.  I sure hope I do good.  I need to get some letters like my parents have.

Day 2

Lowri - TM and Cheryl played my puppies.  They fed some of my puppies.  My puppies LOVE their formula.  I thought it was tasty too.  Here are my babies today.
