Miss Kathy is Here!

Lowri - Miss Kathy is finally here!  TM picked her up at the airport and brought her back to meet Peyton.  Miss Kathy was wearing her t-shirt that asks "Got Peyton?"  She is a big-time Denver Bronco fan!  Her puppy is Bluefox Elyan MVP, Peyton for short.

Peyton likes her a lot!  He has been giving her kisses.  I think this is a good match.  I am happy that all my children have the very best homes.  We are very lucky to have such nice people to take care of the babies.

On another note, we have baby lambs!  Little Mama had twins.  We think they are both girls.  We will find out for sure on the 1st.  TM will catch them up and tag them.  I can't wait until I get to herd them!

We have a lamb on the trailer right now.  He is going to the processor in the morning.  TM sold him to a nice lady that MC knows.  I just know we have to get up early to get him to the processor before TM goes to work.

Oops, TM mistyped my name

Lowri - My name is GCh (bronze) Mockingbird Elyan Magic Moment, HSAsd HSBd <<---- (d NOT s, big difference!) HIAd.  Poor TM can't type.  TM also fixed it on the last blog entry.  She does not like mistakes.

We Are Home

Lowri - We are home from our herding trials.  I was the GOOD DOG!  TM, it is not nice to snort!

Okay, so maybe I was just barely under control.  I had BAD ducks.  Okay, so maybe I caused them to be bad.  But I did manage to qualify - in ALL my classes.  On Saturday, I qualified on Intermediate Ducks.  I WON my class...all right, I was the only one in my class, but I Q'ed.  That means I won!
In Started Sheep, TM YELLED at me... a lot <G>  I didn't care, I was having too much fun.  I took a 2nd place in a class of eight.  It was good enough to earn a Reserve High in Trial.  TM laughed and laughed.  I sort of got it by default in being one of the last dogs standing at the end of the day.  I also finished my Started Sheep title.  That got me another letter in my name!

I do have to say, TM may be giving me a LOT of grief, but the stock people said they thought I was going to be very good - if I ever grow up.  TM grinned and said I could certainly handle the stock.  She just wishes I would quit goosing them to prove I can stop them from bolting.

Today, I qualified again on Intermediate ducks.  The judge was very impressed with my mad skills.  She liked that I schooled the bad duck - without hurting him.  I scored big!  I went High in Trial!  I STRUTTED my stuff!  I earned MORE letters!  TM decided to go home instead of letting me be wild on sheep.  She says she is going to set it up so that I will get a lesson instead.  That doesn't sound really good.

Anyway, pending AKC approval, my name is now GCh (bronze) Mockingbird Elyan Magic Moment, HSAsd, HSBd, HIAd.  Maybe someday I will have as many letters as my daddy.

Herding Trial Weekend

Lowri - Finally, something about ME!  TM and I are off to a herding trial.  We drove most of the way down tonight, and just have about 40 minutes left to go.  We are in the motel and I am snoozing on the bed.  TM shared her apple with me.  A bite for her and a bite for me.  I didn't think it was fair, but TM got to do all the biting.  She would bite off a piece and hand it to me.  It was a good apple.

Tomorrow, I am going to trial in Started Sheep and Intermediate Ducks.  If I Q in ducks, I will win the class!  TM says that is because I am the only one in that class.  There are 10 of us in the Started Sheep class.  TM says if I listen, I will do very well.  I snorted when she said that.  I plan on doing it my way!

Christmas Eve Puppies - Undecorated

Lowri - We are back on the farm for Christmas.  The Mama finally got some pictures of my baby boys.  I do have to say something about Kevin.  He takes being independent and not listening to an art form.  He goes exploring all by himself.  When TM finally tracks him down, he is all, like "Oh, hi.  Where did you come from?"  He isn't rebellious, he just doesn't really care.  He is guaranteed to frustrate TM for years to come.  He makes me so proud.

Kevin is king of the mountain

What?  You called?

A Good Day

Lowri - Today was a good day.  I got to herd ducks and sheep!  It was so much fun.  I got to hold the lambs along a section of fence.  TM wanted to go up and pet them, so I held them for her.  We were NOT in a corner, so that made it way harder - and WAY more fun <G>  TM kept working with me to stay out far enough so I didn't make the lambs try to escape.  I kept telling TM that it is more fun if they DO try to run, but she won the argument - as usual.

MC came out and brought Fable, Story and Dinah.  TM worked both Story and Dinah on my sheep.  Dinah also got to work my ducks.  She was pretty wild when she started out, but she settled down and worked very well.  Story worked the big mama sheep.  TM didn't want them moved much because they are due to lamb.  Story had to work on a long line.  TM got to give her some good lessons on coming.

I got to play with Fable.  She was being so cute.  MC got lots of pictures.  Here are a couple of them.

Friday, Back at the Farm

Lowri - We are back at the farm for the weekend.  This is a good thing, because TM will hopefully take better care of herself.  She has had a migraine the last two days.  That means not much sleep for her.  We got to the farm to find PR had cooked supper.  I didn't get any.  The scraps went into Aidan's bowl.  It smelled tasty.

Tonight, Papa Ron let us out and then grabbed Kevin to snuggle.  He thinks Kevin is too active, not to mention the sharp teeth <G>  TM was cuddling Peyton.  When we all came back in, PR put my children back in the xpen.  He is worried that someone will mistake him for the potty.

The sheep, Big Mama, is due to lamb at any time.  We may have two sets of lambs by Christmas.  That would be very fitting.  I will remind TM to take her camera with us when we go herding.
