Lowri - I got to go to the group place again yesterday. This time I won a fourth of it. TM and MC were very excited! I got lots of good cookies. It was MP's birthday and she had specifically requested that I get her part of the group place, so I did. TM says MP should have more birthdays.
About an hour before Groups, MC told TM to give me another bath. They thought it would be refreshing as it was pretty warm out. It was COLD water! I got very refreshed! At least I shook all over TM <G> MC groomed me up and I looked great. The judge thought so too. He was someone I had seen when I was a puppy. Mr. Hartinger had given me a 5-point major and best puppy about nine months ago. He seemed pleased when MC reminded him about that.
Kearney - I stayed with PR this weekend. TM brought me a present of a new bed. She put it down by Daisy's bed and showed it to me. I stayed on it for quite a while. TM says it was a great bargain. It is the size of my crate and about four inches deep. The fabric is good quality. There was a vendor at the show who was selling them. TM got it for $10. The vendor sold out the first day. MC went back on Sunday to get another one, but they were gone.
TM here - I have heard from a couple of readers that they cannot post to my blog. I have no idea why that would be, and I am sorry. Are you able to post to MC's blog? Her blog is http://bluefoxtn.blogspot.com/. It is the same host as mine. You are also welcome to send me an email at SMShields@aol.com. I will post your comment to the blog.
Yeah for Lowri!
ReplyDeleteUsually when someone can't post to a blog it's a pop-up issue.
We are so proud of you Lowri. Daddy Chase thought a piece of the Group Place was a pretty spiffy Fathers Day present as well as a grand birthday present.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Congrats on the Group placement.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Team Lowri! You go girls...
ReplyDeleteI am one of the ones who cannot comment. I can't comment on Bluefox, either, but I can comment on most blogger blogs.
ReplyDeleteI blame this on some combination of blog template and an individual's settings for cookies.
It is my belief that some blog templates require a user to accept third-party cookies (if the template wants to leave a cookie for the template designer, say, rather than for blogger itself, I think that would be perceived as a third-party cookie).
I do not allow third-party cookies. (This is a browser setting, and applies to whatever web page I may be visiting, rather than anything to do with any particular blog.)
I think it is an interaction between particular blog templates, and a user's browser settings, that is causing some of us to be unable to comment on some blogs.
I have told the blogger people that's what I think, but it's still broken, so maybe I'm wrong......
The behavior is that when I try to comment, the comment form does not recognize that I am already signed in to blogger/google. It will not let me tell it that I want it to recognize my google account id.
Frustrating!
I have tried to send you many "Woohoo!!!" posts, and have ended up hoping that Penni shares or that you see my comments on her blog.
It's weird -- mostly, when I try to comment on blogger blogs, the comment form knows I am signed in, and then all is well and I can comment to my heart's content.
When I get a comment form that doesn't know I've already authenticated, I'm hosed. No comments can get through.
I don't suppose any of this info is actually useful, but that's my story. :-)
Anyway -- GO TEAM LOWRI!!! And Kearney, too, of course.:-)
And - Dinah is adorable and I wish I could leave comments for her, too!

Hi Vicki,
I think you are right. I remember I couldn't comment on others' blogs until I accepted third-party cookies. Thanks for trying I do read Penni's blog regularly so I will see all comments there. In fact, my blog wouldn't let ME comment because I wouldn't accept 3rd party cookies. I just had to update it...
