Apples and Trees

Lowri - TM, Daddy and I went out to clean up the yard.  TM says she has never seen standing water in her back yard before.  She went back in to get the camera.  She was muttering something about Apples and Trees.  I think she said "the apple didn't fall far from the tree."  That makes no sense to me.  We don't have apple trees in our yard.

  1. Oh dear, PIG DOGS! This apple fell very close to this tree.

  2. It's the brinled Tennessee Gators -- guess they're not as rare as I thought they were.

  3. Well, the conditions have to be JUST right in order to view the eluisive critters--evidently, the conditions were PERFECT in TM's back yard! She should have notified the monster hunters! I bet the rare TN brindled gators could warrant their very own special!

  4. Oh my! They probably do deserve their own special...We have no brindled gators here in Cookeville (only 1 princess that does not like to be wet or dirty), though we do get plenty of rain/standing water (much to her dismay).

  5. Lowri I could just hear TM, I bet she sounded like the teacher on the peanuts cartoon. :)

  6. We don't have a brindled gator, but we have a red gator! She definitely goes straight for the puddles and mud! Apple does not fall far from the tree at all. :)
